How appropriate. Here it is Halloween, and scary things are abound. Instead of ghost and goblins though, it is a mailing list that is scary. Most of you have noticed that over the last day or two multiple copies of the Information Alley have appeared in your mailbox. One of the messages was from us, the other was actually a bounced message. Our list is setup so that only we can post messages to it. However, these bounced messages were being passed on a messages from us. This was causing the bounced message with the additional header information to be sent to the entire mailing list again. Of course that message was bounced by the same server back to the list. This endless loop is what you were seeing in your mailbox today.
We have corrected the problem, and apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused you. Sincerely,
