At Ease 4.0.1: Require New Password on Next Login

When I create a new user in At Ease Admin 4.0.1, I am not able to select the Require new password at their next login checkbox. The option is available (not dimmed), but the box cannot be selected. This feature worked correctly before updating from At Ease 4.0 to 4.0.1.

Workarounds

• Create new users with the Users & Groups Manager software and you can select the Require new password at next login.

• Save the new user, re-open it, and select the Require new password at next login.

This issue has been reported to Apple Engineering, however, there is no known time frame when a fix will be available.
