Change Windows but Keep Your Icons Highlighted

You probably think that when you slect a bunch of icons, any click in another windows deselects them all. Does that mean that you can never bring another window to the front without losing your selection? No, you can do it, if you know where to click.

Select icons in the desired window. Then click on the scroll bar of the other window. Your icons in the first window stay selected so that they can now be easily copied or moved to the second window.The Famous Apple!
