Claris Home Page allows you to create Web pages quickly and easily. Some of the things it can do:
I was particularly impressed with the simple, unintimidating page layout. There aren't so many icons to look at that you get freaked-out. The manual also was not an inch thick tome, but was fairly short. It explained the Web and Web pages very understandably, and gave you some hints on design and structure.
I like onscreen help and was able to find what I needed very quickly.
There was a great little tutorial at the back of the manual, with only one flaw that I could see.
What irritated me about the tutorial (and this may just be a personal thing), was that after every section in it, the manual repeated the instructions for "Closing the lesson", if you wanted to take a break. It was the exact same instructions 6 times!!!! I don't think that was necessary.
I didn't really expect it, but I was hoping that Home Page could open and edit an existing html document (not prepared with Home Page.) I couldn't.
(Rated on a scale from 1 Dome to 5 Domes. 5 Domes being excellent and 1 Dome being not worthy)
